Happy New Year! OMG is it really 2008?! I guess so?

: A couple days into the year now. Its Jan 11 of 08. It's amazing how time drifts on so anxiously. Looks like this will be a very interesting year. With everything going on between work and home I'm finding my laziness trying to engulf me when it comes to my work. Mostly because I'm so freaking tired from work and i literally have to unwind. I was hoping I could focus on one thing or another this year but due to last minute plans I guess i'll have to hope that I'll be able to concentrate enough to get something started- and finished.:









I am thinking of one project that will help both. Thanks to one of my dearest friends :2414 studios: and a certain oil set he gave me for xmas i can paint in oils. I love oils. The color is so much more vibrant then acrylics. So much smoother. Drys so much slower that you can work with it much more. I love it! I found the perfect place to take pictures. Happens to be in the gardens at work. I don't know why I hadn't thought of it before but I didn't. The vibrant colors of the flowers and well everything in garden mixed in oils will be exquisite. Thanks again for my xmas present Dark! Now I just have to take the time to get down there to photo some of it to work with.
